I've got another addiction -- Ben Smith's blog, over at Politico.
Now, Ben covered covered me back during the 2004 cycle, when I was running DraftWesleyClark.com. And as far as I'm concerned, any reporter who covers me is instantly elevated to Pulitzer status.
But this isn't just about my massive ego, it's about the work he's been doing this cycle. Ben has been covering the Democratic race for president, and has broken a slew of stories the last few weeks. And he seems to be doing updates 24/7, which is great for a political junkie like me. When this race is over, I hope they give him one hell of a vacation. Or raise. Or both.

For the longest time, I've been under the impression that The Politico was yet another shady right wing 'media outlet', intended to pass as real media but with the mission of actually hurting Democrats.
Are you saying this is no longer the case?
That's not my impression. I know Ben from the Draft Clark days, and he does great work. I've found his coverage of the Dems this time around to be particularly good.
