Well, hey, maybe there's hope for America after all! Hot off the presses from AP:
"It's almost as if people can barely stand the thought of President Bush and Congress anymore. Bush reached his lowest approval rating in The Associated Press-Ipsos poll on Friday as only 30 percent said they like the job he is doing, including an all-time low in his support by Republicans." Now, 30% is probably being charitable. Other polls have already shown him in the 20s. But hey, let's give it to him.
So... that means the following are all officially more popular than George Bush:
And finally... 60% of Americans now favor allowing gays to serve openly in the military -- exactly twice the number who favor George Bush serving in the White House.
Maybe there's hope after all.
